SkinLit is a cosmetic-only service with Apple-managed subscriptions.

These terms explain what SkinLit provides, how subscriptions work, how selfies are processed off-device, and the limits of the cosmetic analysis experience.

1. Purpose

SkinLit provides cosmetic wellness insights only. It is not a medical diagnosis tool.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for the account information you provide and for activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions

  • Paid features are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase.
  • Billing and renewals are handled by Apple using your App Store account.
  • You can restore purchases in the app and manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store account settings.
  • Deleting your SkinLit account does not cancel Apple billing automatically.

4. Cosmetic analysis and off-device processing

By starting a scan and accepting the consent checkbox in the app, you authorize SkinLit to transfer the selfie you capture or choose off-device to SkinLit's backend and to OpenAI, our third-party AI processing provider, so SkinLit can generate cosmetic-only results.

SkinLit may keep a processed preview locally on your device for history and calendar views, but SkinLit does not use your selfie for identity recognition, biometric authentication, or face matching.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the service, interfere with app operation, or use the app for unlawful purposes.

6. Disclaimer

Analysis results are informational and cosmetic in nature and may not be accurate in all conditions. Always consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties.
